ML Athletics Billerica Bootcamp is the first exercise class that I have been able to fully commit to. Going to the gym didn’t work for me. Having a trainer who is there to support you and push you forward is a big help for me personally. Another benefit with ML Athletics bootcamp class is that the cost is not as overwhelming as having a personal trainer. In addition, having a class full of people who care about you and the progress you make is really important to me and we have become a “little family” as one of the other class members said. I love that in class we are constantly changing the routine and the activity that we are doing. Completing each task for only a few minutes at a time allows you to refocus each time you switch activities. The time schedule is one that works for me and is convenient so that is a huge plus also. I also enjoy that as part of our Billerica fitness bootcamp program nutrition has been worked in. Eating healthy was not something that I was ever good at, but having someone who has dealt with the same struggles coach you through it and help you with a plan and any questions you have is extremely beneficial.

Coming to your boot camp has not only given me metal clarity; it has strengthened my core which in turn has helped become better at my position as a paraprofessional.

As you know, I work with physically, mentally & medically handicapped children (3-22 years old). I need to do a lot of lifting, pulling & pushing with the students and equipment. Your classes have enabled me to become better able to move and bend and be flexible without feeling any taxing to my body. Not to mention the toning down to become the hot stuff that I am (ha ha)!!!

Thanks for all the time and care you put in to our classes and including the nutrition part of it as well, it is all good!!!

Robin Lost 11lbs 3.25 inches in waist and 2.5 inches in the hips in 5 months!

Hello my name is Robin, I am a 31 year old mother. I am a participant of Michael LoColle’s Bootcamp class. I have been participating in his class since June of this year. I have never experienced an exercise class this intense yet enjoyable in my life. I grew up involved in sports and continued exercising throughout my 20’s, but once I had my son my life was put on hold. I finally decided I needed to do something for myself, so I joined Mike’s class. I am so grateful for what this class has done for me. In my 5 months of training I have lost 11lbs, 3.25 inches in my waist and 2.5 inches in my hips. I look forward to going to this class every week. I have met new people that I enjoy working out with. We have a lot of laughs together, but with that we’ve seen a lot of results. I have also found time for myself and I feel fantastic, this is all thanks to Mike, Carolyn, and Joe. It is not an easy workout by all means, but it is certainly a fun one. Thank you for my transformation!!!

I was introduced to Mike LoColle when my wife Alison purchased 12 personal training visits for my birthday. I have been working out consistently for 30 years and have completed two Outward Bound courses. I thought I knew plenty about fitness and nutrition, until I met Mike.

My workouts had become routine and my energy level was not what it used to be. Mike determined that my diet was incorrect for my work out schedule, and we made an immediate correction. For the next 5 weeks I was introduced to a dozen new exercises, none of which required the heavy weights I thought were necessary for growing muscle. My workouts became interesting again, and very productive. I covered more ground with Mike in an hour than I ever did alone in the gym. I learned to perform each exercise for maximum gain and efficiency.

Today December 14th 2008, I completed my final training session with Mike and I feel and look better than I have in a long time. More importantly I now have the knowledge which will propel me to more effective workouts in the future. Mike is informed, supportive and inspirational. This was absolutely one of the best gifts I have ever received.

As a person who will probably never love to exercise, I have to admit that ML Athletics Danvers Boot Camp has at least made it tolerable. Partly because it’s always new and interesting, but mostly, because it works! Once I committed to working out two days a week with Mike and his team, I didn’t want the effort I spent in the intense workouts to go to waste, so I committed to doing some sort of exercise every day.

As well, Mike’s motivating (not intimidating) personality really encourages you to push yourself to keep going, both in the Camp during the workout, and the rest of the week, through his frequent emails. You just can’t get that kind of attention from a treadmill which is why I think most women my age, despite hitting the gym 3 or more days a week, just can’t seem to get results. Believe me, you won’t forget you’re in a program once you’ve joined ML Athletics Danvers Boot Camp. Either your aching muscles or, your looser fitting jeans remind you all day long!

Tammy Bicknell lost 14.25 inches overall! 5.25 inches from her waist and hips!

When I first signed up for the Billerica fitness bootcamp I had really thought to myself, okay this is just another last ditch attempt at losing weight and like all my other gym memberships would be a waste of money. However I have been attending ML Athletics Billerica’s fitness bootcamp for 3 months and although the lbs on the scale have been a rollercoaster ride (I attribute that to my diet, LOL) I have lost 12.25 inches. Since the first week, physically I felt better on the inside and know I am showing it on the outside.

Our group setting is great. I like to call it our little family. It’s basically having a personally trainer at every workout. The staff is so committed to you, it’s great. They want you to succeed. There is no room for failure. They are there for you every step of the way, with answers to every question you may have whether it be how to do an exercise or how can I tweek my diet so I can see the most results. Like I said in the beginning I thought I would be there for one month and call it quits, but as of now I resigned my contract for an extended period. If you want to look and feel good come join our little family.

Why the Billerica BootCamp for me vs. regular trips to the Gym?

For me I need someone besides myself to be accountable to. At 43 with a very busy career, kids and a husband to manage I am sadly not as disciplined as I should be, life got in the way. I could see my body getting out of shape and had to do something as it was making me sad. I have always been in great shape and then honestly I got really lazy.

Having the ML Athletics trainers and the other bootcampers there to work out with makes the getting there much easier. No one would know or care if I did not go to my gym for weeks or months. Mike and Carolyn have been great. Each workout is different. I mean it! Never the same routine! They each have their own style and kick your butt. They are encouraging and focus you on your goal to get in better shape. Mike’s email tips for better diet are very helpful.

My goals: My goals were to lose just a few lbs and get back in to better shape over all. Meaning loose the layer of body fat that I really hate and tone up all over. I want to say good bye to cellulite forever!

Where am I now in my progress?

So I started the Billerica Boot Camp in the beginning of November. Ten weeks later I have lost approx: 8 lbs and 11.5 inches over all and imagine through the holidays I stayed in track! I could not be more pleased with the fast changes I am seeing.

What’s next?

12 weeks of hard work with the challenge and true focus on diet. I am really loving this experience. Yup it is hard and you feel it at times but in a good way!
